The Chef
Richard Learmonth is a fine dining chef with over 10 years experience leading teams in multi-hatted restaurants in Australia and New Zealand.

Richard spent two years as Head Chef at the world-renowned Sydney restaurant, Porteno and three years as Head Chef at the hatted Restaurant Pendolino. Following this, Richard moved to Orange where he revitalized Sister’s Rock Winery Restaurant, and received rave reviews for his modern Australian (with an Italian twist) menu, championing all local produce and winning Gourmet Traveller’s Cellar Door with the Best Food 3 years running.
​Well versed in a diverse range of cuisines and with strong connections to local growers and producers, Richard will collaborate with you to create a bespoke dining experience or event showcasing the wonderful produce of the region.
Whether you require catering for a group, a small intimate meal or larger event, Richard can provide you with beautiful cooking that reflects the best of Orange and the Central West.
